TEXAS YOUNG FARMERS CONFERENCE

Important Information about the King Ranch Tour on Thursday - The scheduled time is 12:00 noon. It will depart from the King Ranch visitors center. We are asked to arrive around 11:30 am. Those that can not make the noon tour can still go on the public 2 pm tour. The museum and saddle shop tour will be on your own after the guided tour of the ranch. The museum and saddle shop tour is included in the ticket price. If anyone cannot make the noon tour they can email me and I will leave their name with the tour desk.  King Ranch map.  http://www.king-ranch.com/maps.html
 

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN, click on this link,  www.regonline.com/texas_young_farmers_conference_2010 to register for the 2010 YOUNG FARMER CONFERENCE!  For the first time ever, the Texas Young Farmers will head to South Padre Island!  Bordered by the Gulf of Mexico and the Laguna Madre Bay, the Island has beautiful beaches, warm Gulf waters, fishing, boating, bird watching, shopping, and breathtaking sunsets over the bay. 

padre3The conference will be held January 14 – 17, 2010. The registration link will be posted in mid October or send in the registration form. If you are driving, plan to meet the Young Farmer group Thursday afternoon in Kingsville for a tour of the historic King Ranch!   Friday’s exciting tour will begin with the Sea Turtle Research Center and end with a Dolphin watching and eco tour of the bay aboard the 60’ cruising boat Double Sunshine. It is a weekend NOT to be missed so join your friends on South Padre Island for a conference full of education and fun!
